I would have told you, you're crazy! It all started when I was gifted a Canon Rebel T3i (and, yeah, don’t Google what year that came out) and thought, ‘Momma, I made it!’ At the time, I was living in a tiny loft with no kitchen and a roommate—classic starving artist vibes. But I had this gut feeling that photography was going to take me somewhere. I wasn’t sure where exactly, but I knew it was somewhere. My gut, full of anxiety, turned out to be right. While the work needed some fine tuning, I quickly figured out one thing: I could make people feel comfortable in front of a camera—even if I was a total stranger. Fast forward 11 years, and life has come full circle. Now, I’m living in another loft—this time with a kitchen and a new roommate, aka my 6 year old son, who’s living his best life and is convinced he lives in New York City.
